Apr. 22, 2010) BETA VERSION - Fixed a nasty hang in combat that created two bugs: o A hang when ranged monsters had a Jinx cast on them. o A hang when trying to wake up sleeping party members with an Awake spell and getting hit by ranged attacks. (say during a Gazer ambush!) - Fixed a bug where a player could be asleep in combat but still get an attack. (or anxiously cast an Awake spell!) - Beefed up the Gazer range attack. (After all... they are one of the hardest monsters in the game.) - Beefed up the Daemon range attack. Thought they were too wimpy. Version 1.0.01 (Mon. You have to land first. - Added some code to make the monsters be different on each random spawn. - Daggers are now ranged weapons that are expended on each use. - Monsters will now return fire when attacking with a ship's cannon. - Monsters will attack after being hit by a ship's cannon (if they are right beside the ship). - Combats no longer overlap when multiple monsters can attack the party at the same time. - Monsters who died in combat from spell damage no longer get extra attacks. - Fixed a crash that occurred for ranged monsters fighting when sufferring from Jinx. - Fixed any further possible animation crashes when monster attacks are interrupted by any sort of animation. (hopefully!!) - Fixed problem with flashing text and Ultima logo on start-up when lookking at the menu when the display animatic resets. - Monsters are now harder in both the Abyss and Hyloth dungeons. May 24, 2010) - Monsters now appear on dungeon peer at gem/view spell displays. - Improved monster move algorithm for dungeons. - Magic Axes have an animation that shows them returning to their user. - Ladder buffer overflow problem (climbing a ladder in LBC and holding down a movement key) is now fixed. - Monster's no longer dissappear when crossing over the edges of the world map. - Monsters will now follow a player's ship over the edges of the world map. - Talk Help text is now triggered with -1, and Spell Summary with -2. (fixes an incompatibility with IE Browsers) - Players can now shoot over sleeping party members. - Players can now shoot through all ship walls. (Previously the 'angled' walls blocked player's shots) - Dungeon monsters will now chase players through dungeon halls. - Resurrect can no longer be cast during combat. - Fixed some problems on the start up menu when you are creating your character and then pressing the mouse button. - Monsters are now much tougher. Version 1.0.09 (Mon. May 31, 2010) - Added music and sound to the intro page. - Improved the speed of the monster pathfinding algorithm during combat. - Added music into the main game. - Added a sound & music control panel into the main game. - Wrote a system to transition music as players move from location to location the music of one song will fade out and another fades in. - Fixed a problem with the slow terrain algorithm where over time the player would no longer be slowed. - Added 18 types of sound using 95 different sound files to the main game.
